Photographers: Jeff Divine
Jeff Divine has captured many of surfing's most iconic shots since he began snapping surfers in his native La Jolla, California in the early 60s. Eventually, he made his way to Surfing Magazine and began crisscrossing the globe in search of the best shots. For over 45 years, Divine has documented the evolution of surf, its most extreme waves and coolest personalities. Take a look at these shots, all from his work in the 1970s.
